Major gift to University Museum reflects late couple's enjoyment of culture, history

Through an estate gift, the late Prentiss and Louise Hooper of Oxford have provided support to the University of Mississippi Museum and Historic Houses. The University Foundation has placed their gift in a permanent endowment. Courtesy olemiss.edu.

Lt. Col. James Prentiss Hooper traveled the globe on secret intelligence missions for the U.S. Army, and his wife, Louise Frazier Hooper, accompanied him to many foreign countries.
