9/11: How Are We Responding Today?

In a weird twist of fate (if one believes in such a thing), the Muslim holy month of Ramadan ends around the ninth anniversary of 9/11.Because the Muslim calendar is lunar based, every year the ninth and holy month of Ramadan moves back about eleven days. This year Ramadan began August 11. During this month Muslims fast from dawn to sunset, read the Koran, meditate, practice self-reformation, spiritual cleansing, and charity.
